Kenya Cottage

The Kenya Cottage is the inspiration of Ronald, a Kenyan Architect who has worked diligently to provide modern, dignified homes to lower income people living in and around Nairobi Kenya.  The low cost house design seen here is scheduled to be built beginning in 2011.  The program involves the development of approximately 1000 homes.

Floor Plan (click image to enlarge): This floor plan offers a spacious living environment with a large open gallery in the center of the home.  The design reflects one of many opportunities to develop low cost housing with the appearance and functionality of a middle class house.  This eco-friendly design is constructed from a single 10 ft X 12 ft IADDIC i-house coupled together to make the larger units
